What’s the difference between the dethatcher and scarifier functions?

The dethatcher cylinder uses 21 spring steel tines to gently remove moss and thatch from the lawn surface, while the scarifier cylinder with 22 slicing blades penetrates deeper to loosen compacted soil and promote healthy grass regrowth.

How often should I use the scarifier or dethatcher?

For most lawns, dethatching once or twice per season (spring and autumn) is ideal. Scarifying can be done once a year to restore soil aeration and encourage thicker grass growth.

Can I use this tool on wet grass?
